This project helped to increase community capacity for involvement in water quality monitoring in the Burdekin region by

• developing and implementing a Water Quality Communication Strategy for the Burdekin Dry Tropics region; and
• developing and implementing training programs for traditional owners, land managers & other members of community on water quality monitoring.
